Man stabbed 10 times, hospitalized in stable condition

A man is hospitalized in stable condition after he was stabbed 10 times at a central valley apartment complex, Las Vegas police said.

Metropolitan Police Department officers were called about 6 p.m. to apartments in the 4600 block of Sand Creek Avenue, near West Twain Avenue and South Decatur Boulevard, where a man had been stabbed 10 times. He told police he was stabbed during a robbery, Metro Lt. Kendall Bell said.

"The suspect isn't in custody and the call is being investigated," Bell said.
