Ryland Homes’ back-to-school event provided lots of supplies

Ryland Homes welcomed the new school year with a recent event that garnered hundreds of school supplies for at-risk students in the Clark County School District.

"Our sales centers were home to our first school supply drive, and we were fortunate to receive hundreds of donations from the community," said Randy Char, vice president of sales and marketing for Ryland Homes. "One of our community management associations, CAMCO, also took the initiative to put together backpacks filled with supplies for these needy children."

The builder's Catania neighborhood offers designs that range from 1,572 to 2,169 square feet. It has a new floor plan with a first-floor bedroom. The home is offered with as many as five bedrooms, great room, dining room, kitchen with an island and the option to have a den or bedroom with full bath on the first floor. Prices start in the mid-$100,000s.

A new floor plan is also being offered at Cordova Estates in Henderson and Kensington at Providence communities.

The Garamond is 2,104 square feet and features three bedrooms and 2½ baths. Options include a dual master bedroom and laundry room. In addition, a new gourmet kitchen is available with GE monogram appliances, a double-oven, a professional gas six-burner cooktop, extended cabinets and countertops, industrial Monogram hood and 42-inch upper cabinets.

Cordova Estates is a gated community with homes ranging from 2,400 to 3,039 square feet in single- and two-story plans. Many offer as many as six bedrooms, three baths and three-car garage options. Pricing starts in the mid-$200,000s.

Kensington at Providence is a gated community that offers one- and two-story- homes with an option for a three-car garages. It also has access to trails and a park area. Pricing starts in the low $200,000s.

Jasmine in Henderson features a new rooftop deck. The rooftop deck is offered with the Orchid plan, measuring 1,682 square feet with three bedrooms and 2½ baths. It is priced from the mid-$100,000s.

"It (the rooftop deck) showcases wonderful views, is about the size of a secondary bedroom and is ideal for taking advantage of the outdoors," Char said.

Jasmine is a gated townhomes community featuring a collection of two-story units that range from 1,479 to 1,682 square feet that are priced from the low $100,000s. Amenities include community pool/spa, clubhouse and walking trails.

Rounding out Ryland's offerings this month are two move-in model homes at Centennial Crossing. The homes are 1,934 and 2,170 square feet and feature three bedrooms, 2½ baths, and are priced from the mid-$100,000s. Centennial Crossing is a neighborhood of two-story attached homes that feature three floor plans with multiple room options and outdoor living space.

Sales offices are open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and noon-6 p.m. Mondays.
