Forum Flash: The Forum Shops at Caesars will have special hours during the holidays. Christmas Eve, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Christmas, 10 a.m. to midnight; New Year's Eve, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and New Year's Day, 10 a.m. to midnight. The Devi Kroell boutique is now open at the Forum Shops. Austria-born, New York-based designer Kroell debuted her eponymous collection in spring '04 with understated, sculptural handbags and eventually expanded into footwear and now ready-to-wear, all of which are available at the new boutique.
Winter Escape: Canyon Ranch SpaClub at The Venetian and at the Palazzo will host a Winter Spa Preview from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today. Attendees get to spend the day soaking up luscious seasonal services, receiving wellness advice, tasting healthy treats and partaking in exercise classes. Entrance costs $40 and includes an Event Day Gift Card with $50 toward a spa service, $25 toward a salon service or product and $10 to use at Canyon Ranch Grill. For December, Canyon Ranch SpaClub also introduces spa treatments designed to prevent winter dullness and protect and nourish the skin. Shop 'til You Drop: General Growth Property malls (Boulevard Mall, Meadows mall, Fashion Show, Grand Canal Shoppes and The Shoppes at The Palazzo) are offering two free movie tickets to the first 100 shoppers who spend $250 at the mall on Monday. Looky Here: Chico's announces its partnership with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for the sixth annual Thanks and Giving campaign, a holiday fundraising and awareness program that runs from now through December. To honor the partnership, Chico's designed a specially crafted looking glass that symbolizes the continuous search for cures to deadly diseases. Of the $10 cost, $4 goes toward the hospital.
Discount Duds: DownEast Basics, a high-style, low-price fashion retailer that specializes in trendy and modest clothing has opened its first Nevada store at The District at Green Valley Ranch.
Open Up Shop: Banana Moon, a Monaco-based swimwear company, launched its first franchised concept store in the United States at Town Square. The store carries its signature swimwear line as well as activewear, beachwear and accessories. Two brands will be featured at the store including Banana Moon and Livia Monte-Carlo, which includes beachwear and swimwear and showcases a sophisticated look.
Eye Candy: MesmerEyes has opened at the Bellagio. The eyewear store offers luxury collections from brands such as Porsche Design, Barton Perreira and Alain Mikli. Custom prescriptions also are available.
