College offers workshop for people seeking jobs
The College of Southern Nevada will offer workshops to help people entering or re-entering the work force starting today.
Classes will run 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. today through Thursday at the AD Guy Center, 817 N St. in Las Vegas and 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 23-26 at Green Valley Tech Center, 1560 Warm Springs Road in Henderson.
This course will cover résumé and cover letter preparation; interviewing techniques; online job applications; job searching techniques and resources; and how to use Microsoft Office business applications.
