Carlos Molina, 30, the International Boxing Federation junior middleweight champion, was arrested Tuesday afternoon by Las Vegas police on a fugitive warrant. The warrant, issued in 2007, was for a parole violation for failing to register as a sex offender in Wisconsin.
Officers involved in the death of a Clark County jail inmate last year will not face criminal charges, prosecutors said Thursday. The ruling came exactly one year after the death of Luis Solano, 38, who never recovered after being restrained by corrections officers on Feb. 25, 2013.
