Local commercial real estate professionals from Commercial Alliance Las Vegas joined volunteers from nearby Sunrise Baptist Church to clean up trash and remove graffiti at Winterwood Park on the east side of Las Vegas Oct. 23.

Dina Titus, Clark County Commissioners Susan Brager and Steve Sisolak (all flanking Reid), and students from the community’s Carolyn S. Reedom and William V. Wright elementary schools to plant the cornerstone tree Wednesday at the new Nathaniel Jones Park, which will be completed in fall 2011. The event also celebrated the first-phase funding of the Mountain’s Edge Regional Park, which Reid, Titus, Brager and Sisolak helped secure.
