The family of a man missing since January hasn’t given up its search but has lowered its expectations. “We’re looking for his body,” said Jeffrey Goldberg, the man’s brother. Keith Goldberg, 54, disappeared Jan. 31 after leaving his east valley apartment. He was captured on a surveillance camera near Las Vegas Boulevard South and St. Rose Parkway that morning.
The Southern Nevada Water Authority board used February’s extra day to push through a rate increase that will boost most residential bills by about $5 a month starting in May. The fee totals $5 a month for the average single-family home, about $35 a month for a small retail store and more than $2,200 a month for a large resort.

Native American culture and the spirit of the contemporary powwow are the subjects of the newest exhibit at the Clark County Museum. The exhibit, “What Continues the Dream: Contemporary Arts and Crafts from the Powwow Tradition,” is on loan from the Nevada Arts Council’s Nevada Touring Initiative and runs until May 6 at the museum, 1830 S. Boulder Highway.

I mean specifically calculated ruin. Someone in a position of authority or with power or with money — or all of that — decides to ruin you.
