The city of Las Vegas active adult and senior centers offer exercise, fitness, crafts, arts, dance, music and computer classes Monday through Friday to residents age 50 and older. Many of these activities contribute to wellness and a healthy lifestyle.
Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort kicks off its summer season Saturday. The resort will be open Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Activities include scenic chairlift rides, disc golf, hiking, mountain biking and lawn games.

Las Vegas is completing renovation work on the historic west side of Lorenzi Park at 3333 W. Washington Ave. A grand opening is expected this summer. The western half of the 60-acre park has been closed since March 2012 to make way for the $15 million improvement project.

The Clark County Wetlands Park features a new Nature Center. The 45,000-square-foot complex boasts an 8,335-square-foot exhibit gallery, an 85-seat auditorium and information center in the heart of Wetlands Park, Clark County’s largest and most rustic park. The Nature Center and park are open and free .
Clark County will open eight pools and water parks Memorial Day weekend, kicking off the beginning of summer fun.
