Allegiant Travel plans nonstop Las Vegas service to El Paso, Texas

Allegiant Travel Co. on Friday announced nonstop flights to Las Vegas from El Paso, Texas.

The company, which operates Allegiant Air, is offering one-way fares to Las Vegas from El Paso as low as $43.

“We are very excited to launch this new service from El Paso to Las Vegas,” Jude Bricker, Allegiant chief operating officer, said in a statement. “The new flights will enable travelers to affordably and conveniently visit (Las Vegas), and we look forward to bringing more economic growth to the Las Vegas area.”

The new flights will from the discount carrier will operate twice weekly and expand on the service from over 50 cities that Allegiant currently operates to McCarran International Airport. The new flights will bring nearly 35,000 additional visitors each year to Las Vegas and generate an additional $10.6 million for the economy. Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found at Allegiant.com.

Discount fares must be purchased by May 13 for travel by Nov. 13.
