Longtime Pinnacle Entertainment board member Ornest retires

Michael Ornest, a member of Las Vegas-based Pinnacle Entertainment’s board of directors since 1998, retired from his position, the company announced Tuesday.

Ornest is a private investor. His father, Harry Ornest, was a board member of the company’s predecessor, Hollywood Park, from 1988 until 1998.

"Michael has nearly 12 years of dedicated service to Pinnacle Entertainment," said Pinnacle Entertainment Chairman of the Board Richard Goeglein. "In addition to being one of our longest-serving board members, his family's ties to Pinnacle run even deeper."
