Lucky’s opening race and sports book at Riviera

Lucky's will open a new race and sports book Thursday at the Riviera.

The remodeled sports book is on the Strip and features the only outdoor walk-up betting window in Las Vegas. Lucky's Race and Sports Book President and CEO Joe Asher said gamblers will be able to view the latest lines and place wagers from the Strip.

Asher said the upgraded book will feature 47 high-definition televisions and individual carrels for horse players. For locals, the Riviera has designated short-term parking accessible from Las Vegas Boulevard, he said.

"The new book is in a great location, the heart of the property, and we look forward to contributing to the excitement of the casino floor with a great product for our customers at the Riviera," Asher said in a statement.
