NEWave picks up eight tribal casinos, bringing Oklahoma total to 36

NEWave, a Las Vegas-based supplier of gaming industry compliance software, on Monday was awarded a contract to provide its Title 31 Manager and TINCheck software to the eight casinos in Oklahoma owned by Cherokee Nation Entertainment LLC.

Including these properties, NEWave serves 36 casinos in Oklahoma. None of the resorts serviced by NEWave suffered damage from the recent storms and tornadoes, according to a company spokesman.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“We are honored to have been selected by Cherokee Nation Entertainment for this companywide software deployment,” Clair Rogers, senior vice president of sales at NEWave, said in a statement. “We are confident that our solutions will help protect Cherokee Nation Entertainment casinos from fines and protect the bottom line.”

The company’s Title 31 Manager completes, files and archives forms required to comply with federal money laundering requirements, while TINCheck validates address and tax ID information against Internal Revenue Service and other databases.
