County OKs residential complex near Downtown Summerlin

Clark County commissioners on Wednesday approved plans for a new residential complex across the street from open-air mall Downtown Summerlin.

The plans, by Summerlin developer Howard Hughes Corp., call for a 9-acre, 267-unit complex at the northeast corner of Sahara Avenue and Pavilion Center Drive.

The project would have one- and two-bedroom units ranging from 667 to 1,358 square feet. It also would feature a resident park and dog park, county documents show.

Those documents do not disclose the project’s name or whether units would be available for rent or sale.

The complex would be a short walk from Howard Hughes’ 106-acre Downtown Summerlin project, which features department stores, eateries and other shops, as well as a nine-story office building.

The federal funds rate is the rate at which banks borrow and lend to one another. While the rates consumers pay to borrow money aren’t directly linked to this rate, shifts affect what you pay for credit cards, auto loans, mortgages, and other financial products.
