Silver State Bancorp taps chief lending officer

Silver State Bancorp on Monday named Mike Thorell chief lending officer and credit administration officer of Silver State Bank, the company's banking subsidiary.

Thorell recently was named president of the company's Arizona region, and he will retain that position.

Grubb & Ellis Las Vegas, a real estate services company, named Douglas Schuster senior vice president and Vittal Ram marketing assistant for its multihousing investment group, and Curtis Allsop adviser for its land group.

Newland Communities named Nancy Higgins marketing director for Union Park, a 61-acre mixed-use master-planned urban center in downtown Las Vegas.

Melia Realty Group merged with Windermere Real Estate and named Christine McNaught premier director.

Financial terms of the merger weren't disclosed.

Harris & Associates, a professional services company providing planning, design and construction management, named George Glendenning business development and marketing manager for the Nevada region.

1st Commerce Bank named Kathy Jumper executive vice president and chief operating officer.
