College slates advanced seminar on foreclosures

The College of Southern Nevada is offering an Advanced Foreclosures Seminar from 6-9 p.m. Jan. 17 at Green Valley High School, 1560 Warm Springs Road in Henderson.

The seminar, designed for real estate licensees, lenders, investors and homeowners, is a continuation of the college's basic foreclosures seminar. Topics covered will include property evaluation, trustee sales, foreclosure trusts and deed purchases, and short-sale evaluation.

Allegiant Travel Co., the parent company of Las Vegas-based Allegiant Air, late Monday said its traffic rose by more than half in December as it carried more passengers on fuller flights.

In a statement, Allegiant said traffic rose 55 percent to 321.1 million revenue passenger miles from 207.1 million a year earlier. Capacity rose 51.6 percent to 413 million available seat miles from 272.3 million. Occupancy rose to 77.7 percent from 76 percent.
