College schedules series of tax seminars

The College of Southern Nevada will offer a tax academy starting Jan. 26 at its Downtown Learning Center, 300 N. 13th St.

The academy, designed for attorneys, accountants, and tax preparers, is a series of 13 workshops on tax preparation and tax law,. Courses will cover tax preparation, deductions, retirement plans, incorporation, extensions, and dealing with the Internal Revenue Service.
