Nordstrom announces plans to expand, but not in Nevada
Hey Las Vegas, don’t get your hopes up.
Seattle-based Nordstrom Inc. reported earnings this week and announced an aggressive growth plan. The retailer aims to open 14 new Nordstrom Rack locations in 2013, relocate two others and relocate one full-line Nordstrom store.
None of those openings or relocations will be in Nevada.
No, the states of Michigan, Alabama, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, California, Georgia, Ohio, Texas and Florida, and the District of Columbia are getting the new outlets.
Nordstrom operates 240 stores in 31 states, including 117 full-line stores, 119 Nordstrom Racks, two Jeffrey boutiques, one treasure&bond store and one clearance store.
