ACCOUNTING
Houldsworth Russo & Co. promoted Jessica Sayles, CPA, to principal. Sayles has been with Houldsworth, Russo & Co. since 2007 and previously was an audit manager.
BANKING
Mutual of Omaha Bank is expanding its Nevada mortgage banking group by adding two senior bankers. Joe Lobosco has been named vice president and manager of mortgage lending in Nevada and Michelle Pistone has been named senior private mortgage banker. Both bankers will work from the bank’s Nevada headquarters at 8945 W. Russell Road in Las Vegas.
GAMING
Cannery Casino Resorts LLC named Brian Bork chief marketing officer for the company. Bork brings with him more than two decades of gaming and hospitality experience and held senior management positions with Harrah’s, MGM Resorts, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and Mohegan Sun.
Rocket Gaming Systems named Dan Ingster vice president of sales. Ingster briefly served with Rocket as director of gaming operations. Before joining Rocket, he served with MGM Resorts International in a variety of positions.
Mike Britt has joined Ultimate Gaming as vice president of market development and government affairs. He brings 10 years of experience in politics, legislative affairs and market development to the company.
Jennifer Carleton, a shareholder in the Las Vegas office of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, was elected to serve a three-year term as a trustee of the International Association of Gaming Advisors. She will provide strategic direction and leadership to help address key issues affecting the gaming industry.
HEALTH CARE
Tara Jacquet with Branch Benefit Consultants became certified through The National Association of Health Underwriters’ new professional development course on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. This continuing education course for agents has been approved in all 50 states, and Jacquet will receive 11 CE education credits from the Nevada Department of Insurance.
INSURANCE
Barbara Henry-Allstate Insurance Agency has been named Entrepreneur of the Year by the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Nevada.
Cragin & Pike announces the expansion of its health and benefits division. Chris Campbell has been promoted to agency principal and vice president of health and benefits; and Dulcinea Rongavilla has been named a benefits account executive.
LAW
National law firm Wilson Elser named Richard Dreitzer partner at the firm’s Las Vegas office. Dreitzer works primarily on labor and employment matters, but also has formidable general civil litigation and construction practices.
Lewis and Roca LLP and Rothgerber Johnson & Lyons LLP will combine forces to create one of the largest law firms in the Western United States. When the firms officially join Sept. 1, the 250-lawyer firm will be called Lewis Roca Rothgerber LLP.
PUBLIC RELATIONS
The Ferraro Group hired Gabriele Neumann as a public affairs coordinator and Rickey Martinez as a public relations assistant account executive.
