AWARDS
Matt Van Note, project developer for Bombard Renewable Energy, earned the solar industry’s leading recognition of technical sales expertise from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners.
CONSTRUCTION
McCarthy Building Cos. named four employees project manager. The four promoted are Rob Bedsworth, Jared Carlson, Nate Jacobs and Nathan Kowallis.

Rod Davis, senior vice president of Dignity Health and the president and CEO of St. Rose Dominican Hospitals - Siena Campus was awarded the President’s Medal by Nevada State College.
Linda Young, Clark County School District trustee, was awarded the President’s Medal for her commitment to the mission of the institution.
FINANCE
Alpine Mortgage Planning named Lindsay Cook production assistant.
Before taking this position, she was a production assistant for IMortgage.
Clark County Credit Union named Terri Knight mortgage loan officer in the home loan division.
Before taking this promotion, she served as a financial services representative in the consumer lending department.
GAMING AND HOSPITALITY
The Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers added eight new members, including four Nevada-based businesses, to the organization.
The new local members are Global Experience Specialists, GeoComply USA, Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith and Union Gaming Group.
LAW
Wade Gochnour and James Kohl, attorneys for Howard & Howard, were named to the 2013 Mountain States Super Lawyers list.
Gochnour was honored for his work in construction litigation, and Kohl was listed as a super lawyer in the business litigation group.
Half Price Lawyers named Caleb Zobrist managing attorney for the firm’s bankruptcy department.
He has more than five years experience with bankruptcy law and has filed more than 2,000 bankruptcy cases in his career.
Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck was named to the 2013 edition of Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business list. The firm was recognized for its several practice areas including corporate/commercial and real estate law.
Rebecca Miltenberger, an associate for Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, was named to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Las Vegas Chapter board of directors.
