Gerety & Associates named Hayley Jensen staff accountant. She will work seasonally preparing tax returns and providing various services to the firm’s clients.

Johnson Jacobson Wilcox made several additions to their staff. Michelle Baird, Mariana Lomeli and Tom Kingsley were named staff accountants.

Keith Westergaard and Cassidy Betschart were hired for the firm’s Spring internship.

CONSTRUCTION

Burke Construction Group named Anthony Dazzio chief marketing and governmental affairs officer. Prior to this position, he served as vice president of business development and governmental affairs for the company.

Forte Specialty Contractors named Stephen Ireland estimator. He will serve as a liaison with clients as part of the company’s business development efforts.

ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES

Geotechnical & Environmental Services named Scott Kassel field and laboratory manager. In this position he will manage all aspects of field construction materials testing and observations.

HEALTH CARE

Internist Mona Bambha joined HealthCare Partners Medical Group. She will practice at the organization’s Sunrise facility.

The American Parkinson’s Disease Association’s Southern Nevada Chapter named Robert DeMartino (Superior Health Solutions) to its board of directors.

Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada hired Karen Jacks as a medical oncologist. Prior to this position she served as an oncology fellowship preceptor and medical director of oncology services at University Medical Center.

INSURANCE

State of Nevada Division of Insurance named Joseph Decker deputy commissioner of insurance in the Las Vegas office.

Prior to this appointment, Decker served as senior vice president and regional manager of global corporate security for Bank of America.

LAW

Oshins & Associates attorneys Steve Oshins and Richard Oshins were named two of the 24 Elite Estate Planning Attorneys in America by Trust Advisor.

NONPROFIT

The Downtown Las Vegas Alliance elected Terry Murphy of Strategic Solutions its new chairperson and president. Sam Cherry of Cherry Development Group was elected vice chairperson/vice president.

Other elected individuals included Rich Worthington (Molasky Group); Eric Louttit (Forest City); Lisa Robinson (Four Queens/Binion’s); Jonathan Jossel (Tamares Real Estate Holdings); and Seth Schorr (Fifth Street Gaming).

Jacob Oberman, director of global gaming development for MGM Resorts International, was elected to the Nevada Blind Children’s Foundation’s board of directors.

REAL ESTATE

Exit Realty Platinum Group named Heather Mongie 2012 Agent of the Year.

One Queensridge Place named Randy Char senior vice president of operations. In this position he will oversee all sales and marketing efforts, manage all construction on property and maintain his broker of record responsibility for the towers.

RETAIL

Town Square Las Vegas named Dianelle Lacy assistant general manager. In this, role she will act as an additional resource for retail tenants and customers.
