LGA named Brittany Bleak administrative manager. She will help run daily operations including accounts receivable, payroll duties and marketing/public relations.

Leo A Daly named Arnulfo Martinez vice president for the firm’s Las Vegas office. Before taking this position, he served as director of architecture.

AWARDS

The National Association of Women Business Owners named 13 area women in business as the 2013 Women of Distinction. Slater Hanifan Group named Roland Frye CAD Manager and Stanley Amada assistant project manager.

ENVIRONMENT

Western Environmental Testing Laboratory named Chris Abraham business development specialist.

Urban Environmental Research named Robert Hulshouser partner. He originally joined the company as enterprise risk management director in 2011.

FINANCE

Paul Stowell, senior vice president and Nevada marketing/public relations manager for City National Bank, was named Businessperson of the Year by the Nevada chapter of Future Business Leaders of America.

GAMING AND HOSPITALITY

The Las Vegas Hospitality Association added five new members in April. They are: Evelyn Ramos (Events By EV); Joni Peru (HPN Global); Angela DiCostanzo (Surrender at Wynn/Encore); Stephanie Detwiler (The Act at Palazzo); and Nicolas Murray (Wet ’n’ Wild Las Vegas).

NEWave named Mike Constantino vice president of professional services. He’ll oversee the company’s professional services division as well as the national training and implementation of teams.

Rocket Gaming Systems named Janae Hoover vice president of product management and Jeff LaSeur vice president of operations. Prior to these appointments, Hoover served as director of product strategy, and LaSeur served as senior director of operations.

HEALTH CARE

Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging named Jennifer Day marketing and business development director.

LAW

Lionel Sawyer & Collins attorney Var Lordahl was named to the board of directors for the Foundation for an Independent Tomorrow. Lordahl is an associate in the firm’s business law department.

NONPROFIT

Terry Murphy, president of Strategic Solutions, was named the SHARE Humanitarian of the Month for May. She volunteers with Veteran’s Village, The Rape Crisis Center and the Variety Early Learning Center - Lorenzi Campus.

The Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance named Kathy Parker senior executive administrator and free trade zone coordinator.
