AWARDS

Event Marketer Magazine named SPOON Exhibits & Events to its top 50 list of exhibit and event companies in the country. The company was recognized for taking a consultative approach to event and trade show solutions.

CONSTRUCTION

The Korte Co. added Jonathan Carter to the company’s pre-construction department. He will be assisting the team with the bidding and estimation process.

Harmony Homes was named to the annual BUILDER 100 list of the country’s largest homebuilders. The company was No. 67 on the list with revenue of $106 million.

EDUCATION

The Dr. Miriam & Sheldon G. Adelson Educational Campus named Leslie Smith Rosen head of upper school. She is currently the principal for a school in Maryland and will start in her new position this fall.

FINANCE

Nevada State Bank named Mike Gould senior vice president and residential mortgage lending manager.
He will oversee the bank’s mortgage group focusing on relationship management, product development and staff recruitment.

HEALTH CARE

Asma Habib, a primary care physician, joined HealthCare Partners Medical Group.

The Valley Health System made several changes to its team recently. Carl Caley was named chief financial officer for Spring Valley Hospital, and Ryan Moon was named chief operating officer for Centennial Hills Hospital.

Betsy Sponsler was named chief financial officer and Matthew Wheelus was named associate administrator for Summerlin Hospital. Darren Wells was named associate administrator for Desert Springs Hospital, and Robert Whitaker was named associate administrator for Valley Hospital.

HealthCare Partners Nevada received certification in utilization management and credentialing from the National Committee for Quality Assurance.

REAL ESTATE

Gatski Commercial Real Estate Services named Tamara Zboril senior property manager.

NONPROFIT

Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada named the 2013 board of directors. The members include Robyn Ratcliffe Manzini (president); Deborah Conway (executive vice president); Debbie Levy (vice president of community relations); LuAnn Kutch (treasurer); and Laurie Kalnin (secretary). There are also two high school students acting as “girl board members-at-large” and 10 adult members-at-large.
