Clark County has issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for Allegiant Stadium, signaling the end of the construction process is near.
Allegiant Stadium
Community nonprofit organizations may be able to use an Allegiant Stadium suite for fundraising under a policy adopted Thursday by the Las Vegas Stadium Authority.
The street sign bearing the name of Al Davis, the legendary former owner and head coach of the Raiders, was installed last week off Dean Martin Drive.
The deal, announced Monday, includes nine off-premise digital billboards for general advertising as they commute between Allegiant stadium and McCarran International Airport, as well as the digital marquee sign set for exclusive use by Allegiant Stadium.
The company tasked with installing the majority of signs, Yesco, is capping off its work at the stadium with a trio of the largest of the hundreds of signs they’re installing on the site.
Those looking to work inside the nearly complete $2 billion, 65,000-seat Allegiant Stadium still have time to apply for various game-day positions.
Only a small amount of work remains at the $2 billion Allegiant Stadium ahead of its July 31 substantial completion date.
With 37 days until the July 31 substantial completion date, the Raiders were already running inside Allegiant Stadium Wednesday — well, sort of.
In what is the first “super” event that is hoped to take place in the nearly complete Allegiant Stadium, crews tested an important game-day feature, the plumbing system.
The positions are in the fields of hospitality, food service, security, ticketing, customer service and custodial, with six employers hiring, including the Raiders, Silver & Black Hospitality and ASM Global.
The 85-foot Al Davis memorial torch that spans multiple levels of the stadium could be seen towering over the main entrance on the north end of the $2 billion stadium.
With under two months until the July 31 substantial completion date, Mark Davis said it’ll probably be a photo finish.
With the Raiders natural grass turf laid out two weeks ago its UNLV football’s turn to get in on the action at Allegiant Stadium.
The Review-Journal will livestream Las Vegas Stadium Authority board meeting that begins at 1 p.m.
Construction updates, UNLV’s home schedule, a suite-use policy and the authority’s 2020-21 fiscal year budget are among the topics to be reviewed with the board meets.
