Vegas marketing firm goes international

The Las Vegas marketing communication firm R&R Partners is going international with plans to open an office in Mexico City.

The office will be the company’s ninth, and is coming through an ownership stake in CMV Advertising.

R&R Chief Executive Officer Billy Vassiliadis R&R has been looking to enter Latin America, and Mexico represents the firm’s fourth new office in six years, behind Austin, Denver and Los Angeles. The company also has offices in Reno, Phoenix, Salt Lake City and Washington, D.C.

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, a major R&R Partners client, has for years marketed Las Vegas in Mexico. In addition, R&R Partners has international clients in West Africa, Central Asia, and Europe, as well as U.S.-based clients with global interests, including Boeing.

CMV/R&R Partners will focus on energy, telecommunications, packaged goods, technology, aerospace, travel and tourism.

R&R Partners is best known as developing 2003’s award-winning “What happens here, stays here” campaign for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
