Wynn Resorts ranks fifth on Fortune’s most admired hotel, casino list

Wynn Resorts Ltd. again ranks among the highest large hotel-casino operators in Fortune magazine’s annual rankings of the most admired companies in each industry.

Fortune, in its March 18 issue, ranks Apple Inc. as the most admired company in the world.

Among the hotel, casino and resort companies, Marriott International is ranked No. 1 followed by Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt Hotels, Wyndham Worldwide, Wynn Resorts and Las Vegas Sands Corp.

Wynn Resorts’ rank of fifth overall among hotel, casino and resort companies was down from second place last year.

Las Vegas-based Wynn Resorts operates Wynn Las Vegas and Encore on the Strip, while in Macau it operates Wynn Macau and Encore. The company recently began construction on a $4 billion project in Cotai.
