Abducted Henderson boy found unharmed in Boulder City

A 5-year-old boy who was abducted Thursday morning in Henderson was recovered 45 minutes later, Henderson police said.

Police said the boy was sitting in his father's vehicle in front of a residence on Big Lake Street in southeast Henderson about 6:45 a.m. The boy's father, Eric Kohn, left the vehicle running and went inside the home to retrieve an item, police said.

When he returned moments later, the vehicle was gone. Police were notified and issued an Amber Alert.

The vehicle was recovered about
7:30 a.m. in Boulder City. The boy was unharmed. The suspect fled the scene.
