Body found in desert near Kingman, Ariz.

KINGMAN, Ariz. — The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a man whose body was discovered in the open desert just north of the Kingman city limits Sunday.

Agency spokeswoman Trish Carter said a hunter found the body about 6 p.m. southeast of the intersection of Bank Street and Calle Blanca.

The man with long hair and facial hair possessed no identification and there was no indication how long ago the death occurred. He was wearing a blue hoodie, a button-up blue shirt, blue jeans and brown work boots.

Sheriff Tom Sheahan said missing person reports were under review and autopsy results were pending
