Coroner identifies man in first traffic fatality of 2014

The Clark County coroner’s office has identified Las Vegas’ first traffic fatality of 2014.
Octavio Cuevas-Millan, 31, died Sunday morning when the 2002 Chevy Tahoe he was riding in crashed into a pole on Eastern Avenue.
The Chevy’s 25-year-old driver, Guadelupe Buenrostro, was ejected from the truck and transported to University Medical Center’s trauma unit with critical injuries.
Cuevas-Millan died on the scene.
