Las Vegas police seek help to solve stabbing death

Las Vegas police are seeking the public’s help in finding the person responsible for the stabbing death of a man in the 300 block of North 10th Street near U.S. Highway 95 early Saturday morning.

The victim is believed to have been a homeless person who got into a fight with another man, who then stabbed him multiple times, police said.

When officers arrived at 2:06 a.m., they found a body in the grass, “deceased from apparent multiple stab wounds,” a police report said.

A witness told officers the man had been involved in a struggle with an unknown assailant just before the stabbing. The witness tried to intervene and then called police.

Anyone with any information about the crime can contact the Police Department’s Homicide Section at 702-828-3521 or, to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers by phone at 702-385-5555, or on the Internet at www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
