Las Vegas police seek sexual assault suspect

Las Vegas police are searching for a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman on Labor Day.

Police said Thursday that a 22-year-old woman was attacked on the 3000 block of Joe W. Brown Drive, north of Desert Inn Road, as she was attempting to go back to her hotel room.

Police said the victim was found by a security guard after she ran down a street barefoot and yelling for help.

The suspect was caught on video moments later fleeing in the opposite direction.

Police released additional video that shows the suspect on Las Vegas Boulevard in front of the Riviera taken prior to the reported assault.

Police said the suspect is Hispanic, stands about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 190 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a gray long-sleeve button down over a white T-shirt. He was also wearing black pants and black shoes.
