Man arrested in stabbing on Las Vegas Strip walkway
A man suspected in a stabbing death on a Strip walkway early Saturday has been arrested.
Las Vegas police said Victor Quijano, 25, was arrested on charges of murder with a deadly weapon, attempted murder with a deadly weapon and possession of a dangerous weapon.
Police said officers responded to a fight between "several subjects" about 4:15 a.m. Saturday on a walkway between the MGM Grand and New York-New York.
When officers arrived, they found two men on the walkway with multiple stab wounds.
Both men were taken to University Medical Center, where one died.
The second man is expected to survive. His condition was unknown Monday.
The dead man will be identified by the county coroner's office.
