Man found shot to death in parking lot identified

The Clark County coroner has identified the man found shot dead in a parking lot Sunday night near Maryland Parkway and Flamingo Road.

Police found Brandon Maurice Campbell, 25, of Las Vegas, suffering from gunshot wounds to the head and chest, in the 900 block of Twain Avenue about 10:30 p.m. The coroner has ruled it a homicide.

Officer Marcus Martin described a possible suspect as a black male between 27 to 31 years old and about 280 pounds with a large afro hairdo and a beard. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and blue shorts.

A white four-door car with Nevada license plates and a broken window covered in a blue plastic is believed to be connected to the shooting.
