Man killed in July 13 beltway crash identified

A 20-year-old man who died after the car he was driving overturned on the Las Vegas Beltway earlier this month was identified by the Nevada Highway Patrol Wednesday as Ryan Corporon of Las Vegas.

The Highway Patrol reported the crash occurred July 13 shortly before midnight on the beltway near Lone Mountain Road.

According to officials, Corporon was driving a 2000 Toyota Camry on the beltway north of Lone Mountain. When the roadway curved, Corporon continued straight and traveled across the east paved and dirt shoulders. The Camry then went up an embankment and continued down the other side where the Camry overturned.

Corporon was ejected from his car, according to the Highway Patrol.

Corporon's body wasn't located until the next day at 6 a.m. by a passerby. He was pronounced dead at the scene..
