Man killed in stabbing near Strip identified

The Clark County coroner has identified the man who died in a stabbing near the Strip Thursday night as Louis James Kim, 54, of Las Vegas.

The coroner ruled the death a homicide.

Officers about 8:30 p.m. Thursday discovered Kim on the ground and bleeding on the 300 block of Baltimore Avenue, near Sahara Avenue and Industrial Road. He was taken to University Medical Center and died .

Friday, police identified the suspect as a man of unknown race who was wearing a dark hoodie, dark basketball shorts with a white stripe down each side, black socks and black shoes.
