Man shot outside D Las Vegas after altercation

A man was shot outside The D Las Vegas last week in the waning hours of First Friday celebrations.

According to Las Vegas police, the man was shot in front of the downtown hotel shortly before 2 a.m. Saturday morning after a fight with another person.

The man’s injuries weren’t life threatening, police said.

Police said that while there was a gang presence in the area, they do not believe the shooting to be gang-related.

As of Monday evening, it was unclear whether police had arrested anyone in connection with the shooting.
