Missing Arizona infant found safe in Utah

The 5-month-old girl who was taken by her father from Yuma, Ariz., was located safe in Utah around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Yuma Police Department.

Aleeha Green and her father, Jeff, were south of St. George, Utah, roughly four miles from the Arizona border, Yuma police said.

According to Yuma police, 47-year-old Jeff Green took his 5-month-old daughter, Aleeha, from the girl’s mother after a custody argument. Green has no custodial rights of Aleeha, police said.

Green made suicidal comments to his family and police thought that he may have had a firearm.

According to Yuma police, Green was seen in Boulder City about 7 a.m. Wednesday and believed he could be in Las Vegas. Las Vegas police had no confirmed reports of Green in the area.
