Police arrest man in fatal parking lot stabbing

Las Vegas police arrested a man in the fatal stabbing of another man in a thrift store parking lot Wednesday afternoon.

A fight between two men in the parking lot of Savers, located at 3121 N. Rancho Drive, turned deadly when one of the men stabbed the other in the chest with a screwdriver, a Metro supervisor said.

Police responded about 3:30 p.m., and the man who was stabbed was taken to University Medical Center, where he died.

The name of the man who was arrested has not yet been released. The case is being treated as a homicide.
