Police investigate Sunday deaths as murder-suicide
A man and a woman who died in a murder-suicide Sunday were identified Monday by the Clark County coroner's office as 86-year-old Clifford Huss and 87-year-old Dorothy Huss.
Las Vegas police said that at 8:50 a.m. Sunday, officers were dispatched to a home on the 6400 block of East Tropicana Avenue, near Boulder Highway, and found Dorothy Huss dead. Clifford Huss was rushed to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where he died.
Police called the deaths a murder-suicide.
The coroner's office said Dorothy Huss died from a gunshot wound to the head in a homicide. They said Clifford Huss died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
