Police investigating possible officer-involved shooting near Decatur Blvd.

A 52-year-old man was wounded during an on-duty shooting inside a home Sunday night, North Las Vegas police said.

The identity of the injured man was not released. He was at University Medical Center in serious condition Sunday night.

Police spokeswoman Chrissie Coon said “multiple officers were on scene” of the shooting that occurred shortly before 8 p.m. in the 5400 block of Winterdale Street, near Ann Road and Valley Drive.

No officers were injured.

Coon said officers were called to the home where the shooting took place about 7 p.m.

Coon said late Sunday night she could not release exactly how many officers fired their weapons or why the officers were called to the home.
