Suspects sought in fatal stabbing

A man who was stabbed to death Monday night at an apartment complex in the central valley was identified as 23-year-old William Setting, the Clark County coroner's office said Tuesday.

Setting, from Las Vegas, died from a stab wound to his chest, the coroner's office said.

Las Vegas police said Setting was found stabbed about 11 p.m. in the 300 block of Orland Street, near U.S. Highway 95 and Jones Boulevard.

Officer Laura Meltzer said detectives were looking for two men who stabbed a third man after an altercation. Setting was taken to University Medical Center, where he died.

The first suspect is described as a black man between the ages of 25 and 30. He stands between 6 feet and 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds, police said.

The second suspect is also a black man between the ages of 25 and 30. He stands about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 190 pounds, police said.

Both suspects fled on foot.
