Two charged in connection with skate park shooting

Two people have been arrested after a robbery and shooting at a skate park that left a young man critically injured.
Jerry Santistevan, 21, and an unnamed juvenile boy were arrested and charged with multiple felonies including robbery with a deadly weapon and attempted murder.
Police said either Santistevan or the boy shot a young man in the neck at the Mountain Ridge Park at 7151 Oso Blanca Road, in the northwest valley near Sky Pointe Drive and Elkhorn Road.
The victim might have been paralyzed, police said.
Santistevan and the boy also were accused in a separate robbery at Buffalo Drive and Golden Talon Avenue at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
