Woman critically wounded in apartment stabbing
A woman was critically wounded late Tuesday afternoon after being stabbed in the back, Las Vegas police said.
Lt. Mark Reddon said that shortly before
5:30 p.m., officers were called to a domestic disturbance at an apartment at 230 Mission Newport Lane, near Decatur Boulevard and Meadows Lane, and saw a bloodied woman hanging from a second-story window.
Officers entered the apartment and pulled the woman, in her 40s, to safety. She was taken to University Medical Center.
Reddon said another woman, reported to be the injured woman’s son’s girlfriend or ex-girlfriend, was detained.
