Woman faces attempted murder charge in March incident

A woman was arrested Monday after she tried lighting another woman’s car on fire in a fight over a man, according to Las Vegas police.

Teakila Hall, 22, was leaving a family outing with her two children and their father, Adrian Lynch, at Chuck E. Cheese, 7381 W. Lake Mead Boulevard, about 11 p.m. on March 15.

Lynch’s girlfriend was waiting in a nearby Denny’s parking lot to pick him up to avoid an altercation with Hall, who had threatened her several times previously through text messages, according to police.

A restraining order was issued Feb. 28 ordering Hall to stay 100 feet from the victim.

Hall followed Lynch to the victim’s car and began to pound on the windshield and kicked the passenger’s side door, causing a dent, according to the police report.

Hall removed the gas cap and tried to ignite the gasoline with a lighter while yelling expletives, according to the police report. The victim called 911 and Hall ran from the area.

Hall, who also goes by Teakila Marshall, is on probation until July 28 for possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, according to police.

In addition to the attempted murder charge, Hall faces charges of fourth-degree arson and malicious injury to a vehicle.
