Metro investigates body found in Laughlin

Las Vegas homicide detectives are investigating a body found in Laughlin early Wednesday morning.

Police were called about 2:20 a.m. to a man found dead at the south end of the Heritage Trail Bridge, near State Route 163 and Casino Drive, Metropolitan Police Department Lt. David Gordon said.

The man was in his 50s or 60s and had obvious signs of trauma, which is why the death is being investigated as a homicide, police said.

The Clark County coroner’s office will name the man once his family is notified.

Anyone with information that may assist investigators are encouraged to contact Metro’s homicide department at 702-828-3521 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
