One person injured in southeast Las Vegas shooting
One person was injured in a shooting in the southeast valley Saturday morning.
Metro officers responded to 1500 Karen Ave. near East Sahara Avenue around 7:40 a.m. to reports of a shooting. A witness observed a male on foot get into an argument with a male in a vehicle, Metro Lt. Jeff Goodwin said.
The male ran from the vehicle and the subject in the vehicle shot at the guy running on foot, Goodwin said. When police arrived, officers couldn’t find anyone in the area and cleared it. At 9 a.m. the victim who was shot walked into Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center with nonlife-threatening injuries.
The shooter is still at large.
