1 person injured in drive-by shooting in west Las Vegas Valley

One person was hospitalized after a shooting early Friday morning on Town Center Drive near the 215 Beltway, Las Vegas police said.
Lt. Kendall Bell said two people were walking in the 3600 block of Town Center Drive when someone in a passing car fired a shot into the air.
The car turned around and as it passed the two people again, multiple shots were fired at them, hitting one personseveral times. The vehicle then fled the scene, Bell said.
The person who was shot was taken to the University Medical Center with nonlife-threatening injuries.
