One injured in Central Valley shooting

Las Vegas police are investigating a Sunday afternoon shooting that left one person in critical condition in the central valley.

The shooting was called in at 12:45 p.m. Officers responding to the scene in the 1700 block of J Street, near Owens Avenue, found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to the University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Further details were not immediately available.
