The woman fatally shot early Friday by her husband before he was killed by police has been identified.
Las Vegas police have identified the officers who fatally shot a man Friday after he allegedly killed his wife hours earlier in the south valley.
Outside the couple’s house in the immediate aftermath of the shooting, McGrath said the teen who called 911 had performed CPR on his mother. Her death is the 11th homicide investigated by Metro this year.
Rebecca West, whose death was ruled a homicide by the Clark County coroner’s office, died of a gunshot wound to her head. The 52-year-old’s partner, who was found dead next to her, had not been identified by Monday morning.
Manuel de Jesus Parra-Luna, 28, was shot in the head Saturday morning by his girlfriend’s husband, later identified as 41-year-old Jorge Rodriguez, who then killed himself. The woman also was wounded, but is expected to survive.
Jovanni Grimes was fatally shot about 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Lewis Family Park, near East Charleston Boulevard and Tree Line Drive. The Clark County coroner’s office on Monday ruled his death a homicide.
Jeffrey Robinson, 62, was shot late on Jan. 4 in the parking lot of a residential area on the 6200 block of Ilanos Lane after arguing with another man over a parking spot. The suspected shooter used a shotgun, police said.

Elijah A. Watson’s arrest came almost a month after the Dec. 9 shooting on the 4100 block of Overbrook Drive, which left one man dead and another seriously wounded. He is facing first-degree murder and other charges.
