HAPPY PUNKDAY Punks in Vegas has been covering the scene here for four years now, and to commemorate the occasion, the local blog is throwing a party at Alternate Reality Comics (4110 S. Maryland Parkway) at 6 p.m. Saturday. Catch acoustic sets from Steady Hands, Brock Frabbiele, No Red Alice and Eliza Battle. Donations accepted.
LITTLE BIG MEN Still standing tall after all these years, Killer Dwarfs is bringing its classic Canadian metal to Las Vegas for a show at Las Vegas Country Saloon on Saturday, with Snew, Tail Gun, My Own Nation and Love Sick Radio. Tickets are $10-$13; 702-382-3531.
BULLETPROOF While many metal acts from the '80s are content to capitalize on their old material, Bulletboys, led by founding frontman Marq Torien, is still making new music. The band, touring in support of Elefante, its latest record, stops at Count's Vamp'd on Friday. Tickets are $10; 702-220-8849.
RAWK STARSS peaking of Bulletboys, the outfit's onetime drummer, Jimmy D'Anda, will be at Count's Vamp'd with his band Let It Rawk, whose all-star lineup includes members of Black 'N Blue, Dokken, Styper and more. The show, which also features London, is $10 and starts at 9 p.m.
SPIN CYCLE The Spin Doctors, who gave the world a pair of inescapable singles in the '90s, "Two Princes" and "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong," is playing a free show Saturday with the sharp-dressed dudes in the Cherry Poppin' Daddies at Fremont Street Experience. The show's free and starts at 9 p.m.
