Book of Mormon returns to Smith Center with ticket lottery
September 16, 2015 - 3:11 pm
If "The Book of Mormon" rings your bell, a ticket lottery for the Tony-winning show's Smith Center return should be music to your ears.
Winner of nine Tony Awards, including best musical, "The Book of Mormon" features a book and score by "South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, along with Robert Lopez, who has another Tony (for "Avenue Q") and an Oscar (for the Disney animated smash "Frozen").
Here’s how the ticket lottery works: Entries will be accepted at The Smith Center’s box office starting 2½ hours before each performance. Each entrant will fill out a card with his or her name and the number of $25 tickets (one or two) desired. Only one entry is allowed per person, per day; cards are checked for duplication.
Two hours before curtain, names will be drawn at random for the chance to purchase one or two $25 tickets. Winners must be present at the time of the drawing and show valid ID to purchase the tickets with cash or credit card only.
Regular ticket prices for “The Book of Mormon" are $36 to $160; for more information, call 702-749-2000 or visit www.thesmithcenter.com.
